Great Place to Work® Middle East Recognizes Four More Best Workplaces™ Lists for 2021

Great Place to Work® Middle East recognized the Best Workplaces™ in Qatar, Retail, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, and Millennials, where the top-performing organizations of the highest levels of trust culture were celebrated, alongside their target-driven leaders who led them through this past year.

Within this framework, employees were asked about their physical, emotional, and financial health which mirrored some of the tough alternative actions leaders had chosen to take during this unsettling period.

In our Best Workplaces for Qatar™, the organizations that have made it to the list have shown bold acts of leadership in response to the COVID-19 crisis that changed the way the pandemic has impacted their people, business, and the community. Leaders made it their top priority to communicate with employees throughout the different stages of the pandemic which reflected their success during this turbulent period. Topping the list is DHL Express for prioritizing living by its core values by nurturing employee development, creating a fun work environment, being transparent, listening and acting on employee feedback, and celebrating successes.

For the Retail and Pharmaceutical & Healthcare sector lists, the efforts are a result of leaders demonstrating credibility, respect, and fairness, which helps drive experiences of pride and camaraderie. Earning their way to the top of the list for Retail is none other than THE One with the core purpose of ‘Changing the World Together’ through doing good not only for their customers but for their staff, suppliers, and the community.

In the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare sector, MSD Pharmaceuticals tops the list for the outstanding connection they had with their employees by listening to them and providing them with a platform to grow, all the while bringing forward medicines and vaccines for many of the world’s most challenging diseases in pursuit of their mission to save and improve lives.
