Morooj is a non-profit governmental organization established by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification through a ministerial decree, to serve as the executive arm of the Center. It is chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. Morooj works to increase vegetation cover, conserve biodiversity, adopt circular economy waste practices, and combat climate change, guided by a vision of a sustainable future and a mission to drive environmental awareness, partnerships, and impactful projects across Saudi Arabia
