McDonald’s UAE and Emirates Environmental Group have partnered to spread green values in the UAE. McDonald’s UAE has also significantly reduced its carbon footprint since launching its biodiesel initiative in July 2011. 100% of the vegetable oil used by McDonald’s UAE is collected from its restaurants and converted into 100% biodiesel, which is used as fuel for the company’s logistics fleet.
