On October 15, we celebrated Certification Nation Day, a global celebration of certified organizations across the Middle East and around the world. The celebration reflects the global reach of the Great Place To Work® movement, bringing organizations together through a shared commitment to building better workplaces.
This year, our clients celebrated with us by sharing video stories in response to one question: What’s one practice you’ve introduced this year that has made a genuine impact on your culture?
From initiatives that support employee wellbeing to practices that encourage collaboration and turn employee feedback into action, these stories offer a closer look at how organizations are putting their culture into practice.
Culture Talks in Motion
Eva Interiors shared how the organization extends care to its employees through the Eva Cares initiative, which includes childbirth and marriage benefits, alongside holistic programs that support employee wellbeing.
By offering support through different life stages, these initiatives reflect how employee care can extend beyond day-to-day responsibilities. Benefits and wellbeing programs are one way organizations can put their commitment to employees into practice, helping create an environment where people feel supported both personally and professionally.
Watch Century Financial’s story
Century Financial shared its guiding philosophy of Ubuntu, built on the principle of collective growth and creating a more collaborative environment. The organization also highlighted its Centurion Intelligence Initiative, which empowers teams to work faster, smarter, and better through AI.
Together, these initiatives reflect two complementary aspects of the employee experience: how people work together and the tools that help them do their work. By placing collective growth alongside the use of AI, Century Financial offers an example of how organizations can approach collaboration and work efficiency as part of their broader culture.
These practices also connect to the principles behind a high-trust workplace culture, where the employee experience is shaped by the environment people work in and how they are supported to contribute.
Another inspiring story came from MyZoi, which highlighted how it uses Trust Index™ results as a reference point for its action planning. This approach has helped guide initiatives focused on greater transparency and closing the feedback loop, ensuring employee feedback informs meaningful action.
Listening to employees is an important starting point, but what happens after the feedback is collected matters just as much. Using survey results to guide action planning creates a way to connect what employees share with the improvements an organization chooses to make. MyZoi’s example highlights the role of employee feedback in shaping a more transparent workplace.
Taking Workplace Culture from Insight to Action
Each of these stories offers a different perspective on building a great workplace. Whether through employee benefits, collaborative practices, new tools, or acting on employee feedback, the common thread is the effort to translate a commitment to employees into everyday practices.
