What Makes Napco a Great Place To Work®? It Starts with Family Spirit and Ends with Impact

About Napco National

Napco National has been part of the Saudi industrial landscape since 1956, growing into a leading packaging manufacturer with 19 manufacturing plants, more than 5,000 employees, and exports to over 50 countries. Its longstanding success rests on more than innovation and scale, it is deeply rooted in people.

In the 2024 Great Place to Work® survey, 76% of employees said Napco is a Great Place To Work®, supported by an 85% participation rate from over 4,300 respondents. “At Napco, family spirit and purpose are not slogans, but lived realities. Employees are empowered to grow, innovate, and contribute to something bigger than themselves,” said Mounir Frem, CEO of Napco National.

It starts with Family Spirit and Ends with Impact

Family spirit is at the heart of Napco’s workplace culture. Many employees have spent decades building careers with the company.

That culture is reinforced through everyday connections and shared experiences: breakfast clubs, team outings, and sporting events that bring colleagues together. 82% of employees said they felt welcome when they joined Napco, and 83% expressed pride in what the company accomplishes together.

That sense of unity extends beyond the workplace, shaping how the company serves customers and communities: with humility, care, and accountability.

Values That Guide, Leadership That Listens

Napco National is guided by core values of honesty, family spirit, servant leadership, modesty, precision, hard work, and entrepreneurial drive. These principles influence decision-making and leadership practices across the organization. Survey results reflect this foundation: 71% of employees rated leadership credibility positively, and 70% said they trust management to act with integrity.

Servant leadership remains central to Napco’s philosophy. Leaders are expected to listen, support, and step in during moments of need, whether through structured programs or personal acts of care. Leadership here is defined not by authority, but by service.

A Strategy Grounded in Vision and People

The company’s long-term direction is guided by Napco 2030 Vision, which aspires to position Napco as a dynamic, influential manufacturing leader driven by innovation and sustainability.

That vision is realized through three strategic key enablers:

  • Strategy Realization
  • Digital Transformation
  • Operational Excellence

Within Operational Excellence, the focus is on:

  • Organizational Effectiveness
  • Talent and Capabilities Development

This framework ensures that business growth goes hand in hand with the development of employees’ skills, confidence, and impact.

Accountability and Growth at Every Level

Growth at Napco is viewed not just as an aspiration, but as an expectation. Employees are empowered to take ownership of their development, explore new opportunities, and lead with confidence. 80% said they are given the resources and equipment to do their jobs welland 79% agreed they are entrusted with significant responsibility.

To maintain alignment, progress is measured through Balanced Scorecards, KPIs, and clear objectives. This culture of accountability ensures that excellence is both expected and recognized.

Innovation is also championed across the company and doesn’t happen in silos. Employees are encouraged to bring forward ideas and internal initiatives to improve processes, solve challenges, and enhance customer experiences.

Because Impact Begins with People

The survey confirmed what has long been part of Napco’s identity: 82% of employees are proud to tell others they work here, and 78% feel a strong sense of pride in their work.

“Napco National’s core success is inseparable from its people. When employees feel supported and trusted, they contribute more than performance; they bring ideas, lead change, and inspire others,” said Mounir Frem, CEO of Napco National.

This blend of family spirit, strategic clarity, and people-first leadership is what makes Napco not just a workplace, but a place where people thrive.

What Comes Next
